Munich hosts annual conference on safety

The 1999 ESREL conference is taking place in Munich, Germany between 13 and 17 September 1999.

It will provide a forum for presentation and discussion of traditional and innovative methods and applications of system-based approaches to improve design and operation of products, processes, equipment and installations from the economic and safety points of view.

The ESREL series of annual conferences derived from a European Union initiative to merge, as far as possible, the various national reliability and safety conferences into a pan-European event under the auspices of ESRA (European Safety and Reliability Association).

The organisers of the conference are calling for papers on the following topics:

- RAMS Methods and Applications;
- Reliability and Risk-based Methods, Applications and Decision-Making;
- Value Management;
- Transversal Subjects.
