The ICSE 2000 conference, in Limerick, Ireland, between 4 and 11 June 2000, will bring together researchers and professionals from across the globe to discuss the research relating to information technology (IT) for the next millennium.
The organizers of the ICSE 2000 conference believe that we must seek to facilitate the transition of technology from research into practical applications, while tightening up the feedback loop from practical experience into research. As the starting point of a response to these challenges, the ICSE conference aims to provide the foundation for software engineering for the next millennium.
