The impact of pollution on the Mediterranean

The Mediterranean Scientific Association for Environmental Protection (MESAEP) has released a second announcement and call for papers for the tenth international symposium on environmental pollution and its impact on the Mediterranean region. The event is scheduled to take place in Alicante, Spain, from 2 to 6 October 1999.
The event aims to provide a forum in which scientists can share their results and discuss the current technological and legal measures to avoid or reduce pollution in the Mediterranean Sea. Conference participants will have the opportunity to put suggestions and recommendations to the regulatory authorities on environmental quality and safety in the Mediterranean and its neighbouring countries.
