Waves 2000 - international experts gather to discuss wave propagation

The fifth international conference on the mathematical and numerical aspects of wave propagation will be held in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, between 10 and 14 July 2000.
Mathematicians, scientists and engineers from academia and industry all over the world will gather to exchange research ideas concerning theoretical developments and specific applications in documenting wave propagation.
There will be nine principal lectures on a variety of themes including acoustics, elastodynamics, electromagnetism, hydrodynamics, molecular dynamics and non-linear wave propagation problems.
