The benefits of solid state lighting (SSL) are encouraging the wider adoption of new lighting technology across the UK, and reaping rewards for suppliers and end users. Long lifetime, reduced maintenance, and lower energy consumption are just a few of the advantages, coupled with the ability to control the lighting and produce better quality illumination.
