The theme of Internet World Ireland 99 taking place in Dublin on 27 and 28 October 1999 is 'Making the web work'.
Conference organisers discovered that although the Internet is increasingly regarded as an important business tool, many companies still need information on how to make the Web work most effectively for them.
The conference will cover themes such as: effectively marketing your website; building profitable business relations with your customers; the essentials of an e-commerce website, and what the customer wants on the Web.
Two exhibitions will run parallel to the event; one dedicated to business and a second to consumers and multimedia. These will take place after the conference on 30 and 31 October.
