The third Euro Education Conference - the European forum for information and communications technologies (ICT) issues in the education sector - will take place in Aalborg, Denmark, from 8 to 10 February 2000.
The organisers aim to bring together teachers, teacher educators, administrators, courseware developers and even students to explore the challenges and potential offered by exploiting ICT.
The conference committee is 'open to all kinds and forms of contributions' and is still seeking presentations (the deadline for submissions is 30 September 1999).
Four broad and inter-related themes will be addressed. These include: 'New tools-New concepts-New content?'; 'Information-Communication-Cooperation?'; 'Teaching-Learning-Constructing knowledge; 'Teacher-Mentor-Facilitator?'.
