Data privacy workshop

The Telematics Engineering workshop on data privacy takes place in Brussels, on 20 October 1999. The event will feature the DAPRO information system as a tool for problem-solving support in data protection matters.

A demonstration of the DAPRO system will be followed by a question and answer session on the DAPRO concept. Application fields of the DAPRO system will be explored with particular attention to data security, transborder dataflow and information consent, and the application of the system in practical cases will be examined. The workshop will close with a general discussion.
