Summer School in Valencia: 'Gas-Phase Synthesis & Applications of Metal Nanoparticles'

The Summer School is open to undergraduates, postgraduates and working professionals, coming from different disciplines (aerosols, plasma, materials, solid state, nanotechnology etc.) and application fields of nanoparticles (solar cells, textiles, composites, photonics, catalysis etc.).
The application deadline is 30 April 2014.

The Summer School is organized by the Valencia Nanophotonics Technology Center, the University of Duisburg-Essen and Fomentex within the frame of the project BUONAPART-E (Better Upscaling & Optimization of Nanoparticle and Nanostructure Production by Means of Electrical Discharges), co-financed by the European Union ́s Seventh Framework Programme under Grant Agreement No. 280765.
The project gathers 21 partners institutions from all over Europe with high level of expertise in their respective scientific and technological fields. The innovative, four year project aims at developing industry relevant quantities of high quality nanoparticles in an environmentally friendly and energy efficiently way.
