Integrating medical databases

A workshop focussing on 'Integration of medical databases: Towards an easier access for the user and a better exploitation of contents' will be held in Brussels on 28 March 2000. The event should provide a forum to discuss new trends in the field of integration and interoperability of databases containing medical images.
Participants will have the opportunity to address questions on, for example, direct access to the content of such images, new technologies to be applied to these databases, and regulatory and healthcare policy aspects.
The Medimedia Consortium and Directorate-General for Healthcare Telematics is organising the event.
