Academic, political and legal input will help structure the 'EC environmental law for the new millennium' conference taking place on 12 and 13 May 2000 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
Sponsored partly by the European Commission, the conference will tackle issues such as the role of the EU in formation of international environmental law, the role of the European court in enforcing European environmental law and individual environmental rights in the EU.
Representatives from the European Commission, the Dutch government and academics from both sides of the Atlantic will be presenting speeches on a variety of related subjects at the event.
