EPBN industry contact meeting 2000

The European plant biotechnology network (EPBN) is organising an industry contact meeting in Wageningen, the Netherlands, from 26 to 28 October 2000.
The meeting aims to facilitate contacts between academia and industry in the area of plant biotechnology. The programme combines talks, discussions and many opportunities for personal contacts. Posters and an excursion will also provide a basis for individual discussions, says the EPBN.
Results from ongoing or finished research projects from the European Commission's Fourth and Fifth Framework programmes will be presented and participants will be able to discuss this work with industry representatives to investigate possible applications.
Speakers from industry and research organisations will discuss their needs such as directions of research, financing, contracts, legal advice, networking and access to information as well as public acceptance.
