Europe in Music: Giving Rhythm to Europe

Developing cooperation between the music world and new technologies in order to identify new business opportunities is the aim behind a conference organised with the support of the European Commission, taking place on 5 and 6 June 2000 in Brussels.

Run by the European Multimedia Forum in collaboration with the Federation of Independent Phonographic Industry, the event is entitled 'Europe in Music: Giving Rhythm to Europe' and is the third in a series started in 1999.

Event organisers also hope to find agreement on the best technical and public policy options for the promotion of original European creativity.
