Growth information day

The Dutch and Flemish National Contact Points have organised an information day on 23 May 2000, in preparation for the forthcoming call for proposals in the EU's Growth programme which will be published in June.

The topics covered by this call, which will have a budget of 130 million euro, will be:

- evolutionary value-added and resource-saving products-services including miniaturised systems (Key Action 1 - TRA 1.5);

- materials and their technologies for production and transformation (generic activity).

The deadline for the submission of proposals under this call will be 15 September 2000.

The information day will also cover the related call for proposals in the IST programme which has a deadline in October, about:

- microsystems and subsystems (IST Key Action 4 - action line 7).

The results of the Growth programme and the activities of the Dutch ministry of economic affairs in the Fifth Framework Programme will be addressed at the one-day event, as will the priorities for innovative products and materials in the third Growth call.

Advice will also be given on how to write proposals, what support is available, and experiences from previous Growth projects.
