Object world 2000

Object world 2000 is a forum for experts to share expertise on building object technology enterprise-wide solutions. It will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, on 27 to 30 June 2000.

The object world conference is designed to explore both business and technical solutions.

Full and half day tutorials will be held on 27 June on the following subjects:
- design patterns for OO software development;
- introduction to CORBA and CORBA 3;
- object-based standards for enterprise application integration;
- component-based software engineering;
- component-based software manufacturing;
- advanced CORBA programming with C++;
- EJB and Java-mapping tools
- how to achieve software reusability in large scale projects.

Around 40 conference sessions will address management as well as technical aspects of Object Technology from 28 to 30 June, organised around the following tracks:

- managing OO projects;
- objects in finance and insurance;
- objects in telecom;
- analysis and design, UML;
- XML and components;
- middleware;
- web and objects;
- Java;
- databases at work.
