E-security tackled

The second ISSE (Information security solutions Europe) conference organised by EEMA (the European forum for electronic business) will address the issue of electronic information security in Barcelona from 27 to 29 of September.
Ministers from several European and North American governments will be attending the event that is organised under the auspices of the European Commission's DG Information Society. The event will close with an address from the European Commissioner for Enterprise and Information society, Erkki Liikanen.
The issues of digital identities, consumer protection, cryptography, and enterprise applications will all be addressed. All of these are seen as key to the success of electronic commerce.
