Energy and gas in central and eastern Europe

The third annual international conference for the electricity and gas trade in central and eastern Europe will be held in Warsaw from 10 to 12 October 2000.

Dubbed 'Power bridge: the Warsaw energy meeting' it aims to inform participants about the latest developments in the central and eastern European energy markets. The even follows in the footsteps of last year's meeting, which attracted more than 200 experts.
The main topics are:

- what influence will the Polish energy exchange have on energy trade in Central and Eastern Europe?

- structural changes in the energy sector and their influence on CEE;

- experiences and expectations of market participants;

- technical restrictions in international energy trade;

- new methods and products in a liberalised energy market;

- the future role of renewable energy sources within the CEE energy markets.
