EU-Israeli links in Brussels

A scientific workshop presenting recent achievements in science and technology, and encouraging co-operation between EU scientists and Tel-Aviv University is to be held in Brussels on 27 to 29 November 2000.
The main fields to be represented will be bio-informatics, nano and micro technologies, high-tech entrepreneurship and advanced materials. Officials from the commission will present results of RTD programmes in related fields, and discuss the potential for future co-operation in EU programmes. The event will also feature presentations by leading scientists from Tel Aviv University as well as leading universities in Belgium.
A special workshop will be devoted to joint EU-Middle East projects, focusing on research co-operation in the Dead Sea Rift.For more information please contact:
