A seminar on the responsibilities of professionals involved in preparation of food for human consumption will take place in Montpellier on 30 November and 1 December.

The event has been organised by the French higher national school of agronomy, several of whose laboratories are involved in research projects funded by the European Union.

One of themes covered in the seminar will be the legal angle of proving the harmless nature of food content. Several experts will make presentations of how the responsibilities of professionals in this area have evolved through changes in the law.
