Hungary and the Framework programme

A regional workshop on trilateral cooperation between central and eastern European (CEE) countries, the European Union and the USA will take place in Budapest on 7 September.
The event is designed to find out how US partners can be integrated into Framework projects using the existing links between US and CEE researchers. It will also analyse the role of NGOs (Non-governmental organisations) and liaison offices in fostering multinational initiatives. Representatives from the European Commission's DG Research will be on hand, as will US Department of State and CEE experts.
