Energie programme - information day

An information day organised by the European Commission on the Fifth Framework programme's (FP5) Energie programme, along with a project meeting for EnerBuild RTD will take place in Malmö, Sweden on 6 to 8 September.
The event will look at research needs relating to energy efficiency and renewables in buildings and urban areas, with a particular emphasis on the final call for proposals in FP5, for which the deadline is 14 December 2001. The next framework programme will also be discussed at the meeting.
Current and recent European energy R&D (research and development) relating to buildings will be reviewed, and cross sectoral issues will be examined in comparison with Japanese and US building energy research.
The EnerBuild network promotes close linkages between the key European market actors and the European Commission's building-related energy RTD activities, fuller use of the synergies between some of the objectives of industry associations and the Commission's objectives, and wider dissemination of the best available energy technologies in the building sector.For further information, please consult the following web address: http://www.enerbuild.net(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)
