Presidency to hold 'responsible mobility' event

The department of the environment and infrastructure of the Ministry of the Flemish Community in Belgium has announced a call for papers for a European conference on mobility management, to be held on 15 to 17 May 2002. The organisers have chosen the theme 'responsible mobility - active partnerships', and hope to promote more sustainable travel and transport.
The conference will provide a platform for best practices, strategies and the social and economic framework of all sectors in the field of mobility management. The event will consist of plenary sessions, keynote speeches, workshops and poster and video presentations as well as an exhibition.
