Innovation and new technology in environmental protection

An international forum and fair on environmental protection within the framework of innovation, new technology and economic cooperation will take place in Warsaw, Poland on 25 to 27 April.

The events are being organised by Hi-Tech Ltd, the principal partner in East Poland's innovation relay centre. The event is being supported by the Ministry of environment and the State committee for scientific research. Patron of the event will be Aleksander Kwasniewski, President of the Republic of Poland.

The forum is intended to give a new dimension and more interactive character to research and business cooperation in environmental protection between partners in EU Member States and their counterparts in Central and East European States. The fair aims to provide a platform for East-West cooperation in the field of new technologies. Participating in the fair will be innovative companies, scientific institutes and research centres, banks, financial institutions, consulting companies and other organisations dealing with technology transfer and the development of enterprises at regional, national and international levels.

Everyone attending the forum will have the opportunity to present their own project proposals during thematic workshops.For further information, please consult the following web addresses:
