Committee of Regions to host e-learning exhibition

The Committee of the Regions is to host an exhibition on e-learning during its plenary session from 3 to 4 July.
Presented in association with Cisco Systems, the interactive exhibition will highlight best practice in improving IT skills through partnerships in the regions.
Education and Culture Commissioner Viviane Reding has said a new e-learning proposal will be put to the Education Council by the end of the year. 'eLearning is seen as an important facilitator for continuous lifelong learning, as it provides opportunity for people to learn where they want, when they want,' Ms Reding said on 13 June.
