FP6 information event, Sofia

The Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science has organised an information event on the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), which will take place in Sofia on 13 and 14 January 2003.
The event will address the following issues related to FP6:
-The European Research Area (ERA) and FP6;
-FP6 thematic priorities and horizontal activities;
-New FP6 funding instruments and rules for participation;
-EURATOM;
-Joint Research Centre activities.
There will be an opportunity for attendees to discuss in detail the subjects raised at the end of each day. There will also be an official ceremony to award the winners of the most efficient institute and small or medium sized enterprise (SME) as well as the best Fifth Framework Programme project.
