UKISHelp eContent information afternoon

The UKISHelp service, on behalf of the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), is organising an eContent afternoon in London on 7 February 2003.

The event will focus on the eContent programme third call for proposals, published in December, which provides a budget of 29 million euro to support selected projects which:

- improve access to and use of public sector information
- enhance content production in a multilingual and multicultural environment
- increase dynamism in the digital content market

Representatives from the UK government will be present to offer information on preparing a successful proposal. There will also be representation from the European Commission to give insight into the purpose of the call and the kind of projects anticipated.
