Information day: applications and services for the mobile user and worker

The Commission's Information Society DG is organising a Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) information day on the theme of shaping the future, applications and services for the mobile user and worker, in Brussels on 28 February.

The event is open to any interested members of the public, and will include presentations from representatives of DG Information Society, Heikki Saikkonen from Nokia, and Thomas Brimmer from the Ministry of Economy and Ports, Bremen, Germany.

There will also be a presentation of ideas for FP6 proposals from project consortia in the field of mobile applications and services. This follows a concertation meeting on 27 February open to the participants of IST projects in the area, to discuss their aims, objectives, approaches and future collaborations.For further information, please consult the following web address:
