FP6 Priority 5 information day, Parma

Parma is to host a national information day on Priority 5 of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), 'Food quality and safety', on 31 March.

The main objective of the event is to discuss research into the quality and safety of the agro food sector and the rules for participating in the corresponding thematic priority.

The event will also highlight the regional dimension of the European Research Area (ERA) and will present the instruments for participation.

Representatives from the European Commission's Research DG as well as the Italian Ministry for Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) will be present to give expert advice and feedback about project proposals and ideas

The event is being organised by the science, technology and enterprise organisation (ASTER) and the union of industrialists of Parma in association with the Emilia Romagna region, the Parma province and the European Commission.For further information, please contact:
