ECOLINK workshop to take place in Wales

An ECOLINK workshop, funded under the Fifth Framework Programme in order to improve interaction between EcoCentres and nature conservationists, will take place in Powys, Wales, on 28 and 29 April.
The event will examine how EcoCentres can integrate nature conservation into local sustainable development by acting as a focus for the assembling of local environmental protection, agriculture, rural industries and services and ecotourism.
The Ecosite concept is mentioned in the work programme for FP6, but the workshop also aims to create a more prominent role for it in the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).For further information, please contact:
