International convention 'knowledge as public common property'

CSI-Piemonte is organising an international convention entitled 'knowledge as public common property: software, data, know-how' on 17 and 18 November in Turin, Italy.

The event will focus on questions such as:
- what obstacles impede broad access to the ever growing heritage of knowledge?
- what strategies can reconcile privacy and security rights and market pressure for protection of information property (patents, licenses, copyrights etc.)?
