Workshop: presenting the results of ship production research

A workshop will be held in Papenburg, Germany, on 24 October to present the results of four EU funded research projects in the field of ship production processes.
The four projects to be presented are:
- SANDWICH: advanced composite sandwich steel structures;
- ECOPAINT: environmentally friendly and effective coatings for ships;
- CRASHCOASTER: crash resistant side structures of coasters and RO/RO ships;
- BONDSHIP: bonding of lightweight materials for cost effective production of high speed craft and passenger ships.
The presenters will focus on the project findings and their application. An outlook on further research in the areas concerned will also be given.For further information, please consult the following web address:
