Seventh summer school on green chemistry

The seventh annual summer school on green chemistry will take place from 5 to 11 September in Venice, Italy.
The purpose of the school is to teach to young chemists the design of intrinsically clean chemical processes that can solve pollution at source. Participants will learn how chemistry can be used to prevent pollution, particularly as an alternative to the cleanup of waste, which is costly in economic, health and environmental terms.
The schools usually consist of a total of 10 to 12 lectures, plus ample discussion time, poster sessions, awards and problem solving sessions. The summer schools on green chemistry are supported under the 'improving the human research potential and the socio-economic base' priority of the Fifth Framework Programme.For further information, please consult the following web address:
