TECABS project to present results

The researchers behind the EU funded TECABs project will present their results, which include technology for the 50 units per day production of lightweight carbon free automotive body structures, in Leuven, Belgium, on 1 September.
The project has produced a full scale RTM carbon fibre floorpan that is 50 per cent lighter and has 70 per cent fewer parts than steel equivalents. The new technology allows the production of 50 units per day.
The event, which coincides with the end of the project, will showcase the results and offer an opportunity for interested parties to find out more from the project partners.For further information, please visit:
