Fourth training course on off-site emergency response to nuclear accidents

The fourth training course on off-site emergency response to nuclear accidents will take place in Mol, Belgium, on 27 June - 1 July 1994. The EU promotes education and training activities in radiation protection in order to maintain EU expertise in this area.

This training course will provide a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of emergency planning and response such as principles of intervention, planning and organization and decision making with respect to off-site intervention in the case of accidental release of radioactive material into the environment.

The course will be of benefit to those involved in contingency planning such as civil protection and environmental protection officers and those responsible for the management of radiation protection or emergency planning at nuclear facilities.
