Exhibition of multimedia results

An exhibition of multimedia results from Community research programmes will take place on 24-25 June in Palermo, Italy.

The exhibition will present results from the ESPRIT, RACE and DELTA programmes and is being organized by the Italian VALUE Relay Centre, IRIDE, in collaboration with the Centre for Electronic Research, CRES, in Sicily.

At the event, contractors will present the results of ongoing and recently completed Community-funded research projects in the field of multimedia to representatives of the local business community.

Presentations at the event will cover the following areas:
- Multimedia challenges to publishing (DeTeBerKom, Germany);
- Remote access to museum archives (Telsystems, France);
- Editorial platforms for electronic and traditional publishing (SEM Advanced Technologies RED, Italy);
- A multimedia integrated patient record generator (Group RICHE SC, Netherlands);
- Knowledge-based information management systems (GESI Srl, Italy);
- Intelligent training systems in the industrial environment (Marconi Simulation Ltd).

The sessions will include demonstrations and technical presentations.
