THERMIE exhibition on "Innovative energy technologies for our environment"

In the framework of the THERMIE programme, the European Commission, DG XVII, will hold an exhibition on "Innovative energy technologies for our environment" in Martin-Gropius-Bau, Germany, on 19-24 September 1994.

The exhibition will present practical examples of efficient energy technologies, focusing in particular on:

- The rational use of energy in transport, buildings and industry;
- Renewable energy sources such as sun, wind, hydro power, biomass and geothermal energy;
- Clean use of coal;
- Oil and gas technologies.

Experts will present the latest technologies as well as innovative marketing strategies. There will be an overview of THERMIE and other regional, national and European support programmes.
