Euroconference on Science Policy

Under the auspices of the European Science Foundation, a major Euroconference on Science Policy is being organized in Il Ciocco, Italy, on 5-9 November 1994.
The conference will address four main themes:
- Understanding the relationship between science, technology and management and their use in policy and management;
- National research systems and their transnational context;
- Links between the science base and industrial innovation.
- The strategic management of national research systems.
The focus of the conference will be on new developments.
The number of participants will be limited to 80. Some grants are available for younger scientists to attend the conference, in particular those from less-favoured regions in Europe.
