Investing successfully in energy technologies

In the framework of the THERMIE programme, a workshop on "Investing successfully in energy technologies" will be held on 25 November 1994 in Berlin. It is organized by Friedmann & Johnson, a member of the OPET network, in collaboration with the European Commission, DG XVII.

The workshop will discuss the following topics:

- Energy technologies as an economic factor;
- Introduction to the THERMIE programme;
- Introduction to the OPET network;
- Reducing capital costs and the promotion of energy technology projects of the Deutsche Ausgleichsbank;
- Promoting the protection of the environment: Innovative energy-saving techniques, e.g. the use of biomass and energy-saving contracting models;
- Project financing by the Hausbank;
- Experiences of project participants.
