Visit to the Moscow Centre for Science, Research and Statistics

A visit to the Moscow Centre for Science, Research and Statistics will take place from 18-22 September 1995. The visit is financed under the TACIS programme and includes a full week-long programme organized jointly by Eurostat and the Office for Official Publications of the European Communities. The programme includes discussion of the following points:

- Eurostat experience in sample surveys and in statistical analysis of survey data;
- Software applications for sample surveys;
- Eurostat databases and publication facilities;
- Protection of confidential data and the legal environment for statistical confidentiality in Eurostat;
- Printing facilities and dissemination of Eurostat publications.
