An international conference on "Multimedia in health science - validation, user acceptance and outcome" will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 19-23 June 1996. The conference is being organized in collaboration with the European Community's Telematics Applications programme and the "Slice of Life" international health science technology development fund.
The aim of the conference is to increase interest in, and the use of, interactive information technology in health science education. The scope of the conference covers all aspects of the use of interactive multimedia in health science education, including validation of the scientific quality, evaluation of the ease of use and acceptance of the software, and the outcome in terms of the benefit to health professionals, teachers, students and patients.
