The sixth annual OMI conference, EMSYS'96, will take place in Berlin, Germany, from 23 to 25 September 1996. OMI, the Open Microprocessor Systems Initiative, is a specific domain within the Community's RTD programme in the field of information technologies (ESPRIT).
The aim of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of information and experiences regarding the enormous technological improvements in microprocessors and their use in embedded systems.
The conference programme will consist of plenary sessions, parallel streams and an exhibition which will include expressions of interest for locating potential partners for project proposals, research projects or marketing activities. In addition there will be a tutorial on intellectual property rights.
