An "Information Day" on the Community's TEMPUS programme for trans-European cooperation in higher education will be held in Paris, France, on 22 November 1996.
The event, which is being organized by the TEMPUS Information Office for France, will provide advice for French organizations interested in preparing proposals for TEMPUS projects in 1997, including TEMPUS-PHARE and TEMPUS-TACIS, which focus on the Central and Eastern European countries and the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union.
The programme will include speakers from the European Commission, the European Training Foundation and the French Ministries for Foreign Affairs and for National Education, Higher Education and Research.
A event will also provide up-to-date information about opportunities for educational cooperation with the Central and Eastern European countries in the framework of the SOCRATES and LEONARDO DA VINCI Community action programmes in the field of education and vocational training.
