Annual Commission Information services and sources meeting

CORDIS, the Community's R&D Information Service, will host the European Commission's annual "Information services and sources" meeting in London, United Kingdom, on 4 December 1996. The meeting will take place in parallel to On-line Information '96, the major annual conference for on-line information media (see RTD-News RCN 6868).

The meeting will provide the latest news on all the major public on-line information services run by the Commission, including:

- Eur-OP's Eurobases;
- CORDIS;
- I'M Europe;
- ECHO - The European Commission Host Organization;
- EUROPA WWW server.

The second part of the meeting will cover the recently-launched INFO2000 programme, which supports the European multimedia industry and the development of the use of multimedia content, and other Community initiatives in support of electronic publishing in Europe.

CORDIS will also be present at On-line Information '96, with all the CORDIS products on display. In addition to exhibiting the products, CORDIS staff will conduct a short demonstration on each day of the exhibition (3, 4 and 5 December).
