Participation of SMEs in Community RTD

A conference to promote the participation of SMEs in Community RTD programmes will be held in Toulouse, France, on 12 March 1997. The conference is organized by the members of the Innovation Relay Centre in the south of France.
The aims of the conference are to present the activities of the IRC for southern France, to present experiences of SMEs which have participated in Community RTD projects or technology transfer collaborations, and to discuss practical issues concerning the participation of SMEs.
The conference is organized as part of the SIAM fair, which allows SMEs to meet potential buyers or contractors, offering business opportunities. The 1997 fair will focus on the environmental sector, with mechanics, electronics, aerospace, agro-food and health also represented.
