Theory and tools for innovation management

The XIth International ISPIM conference on "Theory and tools for innovation management" will take place in San Sebastien, Spain, on 1-3 October 1997. The conference is being organized by the International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM), in collaboration with the Spanish "Asociacion del Conocimiento en Gestion Empresarial".
The objective of the conference is to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art in techniques, approaches and methodologies aimed at developing the innovative behaviour of European companies. Particular emphasis will be placed on the role of SMEs. The conference also aims to promote the transnational exchange of knowledge and methodological practice in the use of innovation management techniques (IMTs).
The conference organizers are presently inviting researchers, academics, consultants and managers to submit papers under the theme "Theory and tools for the management of innovation". Abstracts should fall within one of the following areas: research and conceptual papers; new methods and techniques; implementation case studies.
