Technology transfer within the Fourth Framework Programme

The French Association Nationale de la Recherche Technique (ANRT) is organizing a seminar on technology transfer within the European Community's RTD Framework Programme, to be held in Paris, France, on 12 June 1997.

The seminar will be addressed by representatives of the European Commission, who will outline the opportunities for technology transfer within the Fourth RTD Framework Programme. In particular, the following areas will be highlighted:

- Technology transfer and validation projects (INNOVATION programme);
- Technology Stimulation Measures for SMEs;
- FUSE projects (action in favour of new users), part of the ESPRIT programme;
- Transfer of best practices for the integration of information technologies;
- Case studies of innovation and technology transfer across cultural borders.

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss possibilities with Commission staff and each other. The seminar will be of interest both to those looking for new technologies and applications, and to those offering them.
