Fourth European Symposium on Stratospheric Ozone Research

The Fourth European Symposium on Stratospheric Ozone Research will take place in Schliersee, Germany, from 22 to 26 September 1997.
The symposium, which is being organized by the European Commission (DG XII) in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Technology (BMBF), will present the result of studies (measurements and models) conducted during the 1996/1997 Arctic winter.
Presentations will be followed by a discussion of plans for the Third European Stratospheric Experiment on Ozone (THESEO - 1998-1999), based on the recently approved projects within the Community's Environment and Climate programme.
