A conference entitled "Research in practice" is being organized by Uni Transfer, the Research and Technology Office of the University of Hannover, in Hannover, Germany, on 5 November 1997. The University is one of the partners in the Lower Saxony/Saxony-Anhalt Innovation Relay Centre.
The event is aimed at SMEs, and is designed to foster improved links between the institute and SMEs. Following a brief description of the work of the institute, participants will go on a tour where seven different applications developed in the University will be demonstrated.
In the wake of the formal programme, participants will have the opportunity to take part in informal discussions with representatives of the University and the researchers currently working there, as well as each other.
