One-stop testing workshop

The European Organization for Testing and Certification (EOTC) is holding a workshop on "One-stop testing", in Brussels, Belgium, on 4 March 1998.
One-stop testing is the process whereby a test result, properly documented, is recognized and accepted on a wider than national basis, ideally throughout the European Economic Area and worldwide. The workshop will provide the opportunity for major players involved in testing, certification and conformity assessment to meet and exchange views. Participants will include administrators and regulators, purchasers and suppliers, as well as those providing services in the field, such as law, insurance, banking and engineering consultants.
The workshop will provide an overview of one-stop testing today and look at likely developments. Presentations from all the major interest groups, including the European Commission, will ensure a wide-ranging debate.
