Geophysical processing and interpretation workshop

A workshop on geophysical processing and interpretation will be held in Tyumen, Siberia, Russia, on 4 and 5 March. The workshop is supported by the THERMIE (demonstration) component of the EU's Non-nuclear Energy RTD programme.

The main topics to be covered in the workshop will be:

- Field work technology;
- Logging;
- Reservoir modelling;
- Geophysical database creation.

Around 60 Russian energy specialists are expected to attend, representing geophysical and oil companies from Western Siberia and neighbouring regions.
